This week on our be prompt'd series, we prompt'd Sam Wilson, owner of NW Rose Events, Portland's leading digital photobooth provider elevating your event experiences.
Prompt: What is your favorite quote?
Sam:  “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

I have always loved this quote and even used it in my senior quote for my high school yearbook. I try to encompass this quote as it inspires empathy and self-awareness. It makes me think about how I’m interacting with others both in my personal life and in my business. I LOVE interacting with everyone who interacts with my photobooth at an event. My goal is always to “elevate event experiences,” and two seconds with me at my photobooth is no exception. I want people to leave feeling joyful and excited about their photobooth captures and their experience at an event. I want them to have fun and remember x, y, and z event being the best day/night, so they hold onto those memories! 
It’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness of the world. I take solace in reminding myself of this quote when I struggle to take it all in. *Insert all the cliches about life being short here!* :) 
As common as it is to say, we truly have the power to change our lives and the lives of others with how we interact and make others feel. I implore anyone reading this to think of one thing you can do today to make someone feel inspired, encouraged, joyful or excited about this life today. Take a crack at it, and you may just elevate someone’s experience!
