It may be a little cliche, but writing is certainly one of my many many obsessions. When I first meet people it might be considered secret for about four or five minutes. When I was younger I used to hate writing. My only experience of it had been in school. None of my assignments had been very fun and I hadn't been very good at spelling back then either. That changed when I was in third grade.
My teacher had the whole class take a notebook and write something every week. I was miserable about the assignment until he said some of my favorite words, "It can be fiction.” From there I found a passion for making stories and my friends can say they can't take me anywhere without coming up with entire worlds in my head by the time we get home. I live to be able to write stories and universes into words and pages. Most people say obsession is a bad thing but for something like writing and me I would say it's a wonderful thing.
